Hallo ValJor,

I noticed that you created a discussion page for me. Thanks. I have a question: would you like to help me expand one of my weblogs (the Portugese one)? You can contact me via http://simondedanser.blogspot.com/1970/01/contact.html I'll explain further when you mailed me.

Thanks again, SimonDeDanser 17h19min de 11 de agosto de 2009 (UTC)[responder]

A misunderstanding[editar]

I find it strange, but I got a welcome message in the Portuguese version of the Wiktionary instead of the English one. I also don't understand Portuguese, but I managed to figure out without effort about communicating through my user page to tell everybody that my native language is English. Any comments? Should I use this as an opportunity to expand my linguistic capabilities? After all, a newcomer's linguistic capabilities mustn't be judged by the user name. Thank you. - Lo Ximiendo (Discussão) 20h29min de 19 de outubro de 2010 (UTC)[responder]

Greets[editar]

Thanks for the welcome.

I'm not really a new user, but I usually stick to the en side of things. (I only looked at a single page on pt; wasn't aware that would make me show up as a new user here.)

Unfortunately, I don't speak (or read or understand in any way) Portuguese. -- Eriksiers (Discussão) 17h51min de 6 de julho de 2011 (UTC)[responder]

Obrigado![editar]

I thank you for the welcoming message.

  • Excuse me, Jorge, I don't speak o brasileiro (I know just a couple of words — but my dad does, with the a singing pronounciation like /ˈfoʁtʃɨs/ (fortes), not something like /ʃkudʃ/ for escudos, and he uses Brazilian words, I've been said: perhaps you could tell me which accent he uses? He told us many times that he gets nervous when we ask... We can't be genious every time!
  • If you live in S. BC, I've probably flown over you several times during a floatplane course and a mountain flying... Marvellous! --Air Miss (Discussão) 19h42min de 17 de agosto de 2011 (UTC) (see e.g. Air Miss there)[responder]
