I probably Concordo. Will you be linking articles or categories? I suppose you know the difference of interwiki-linking articles in Wiktionary in comparison to categories or Wikipedia articles, but I would like to be sure since I have come across bot operators who linked Wiktionary categories with the -wiktionary option on, and others who didn't even use that switch for articles. • Vai linkar artigos? Só para ter a certeza: você tem conhecimento das especificidades dos interwikis dos artigos nos Wikcionários? Eles são bastante diferentes dos da Wikipédia, já que as grafias têm que ser iguais e não traduzidas (switch -wiktionary). E é preciso algum cuidado também com a remoção ou falsa correção de redirecionamentos (geralmente, combinando -auto -cleanup). Sugiro que faça alguns testes sem flag de bot para que possamos ver se está tudo bem. Malafaya ^disc. 22h52min de 13 de janeiro de 2012 (UTC)

Requesting a bot flag:

Bot is written to use the Mediawiki API, which is much more effective than the wikipedia pybot framework; it does use the framework module for language links, to stay up with changes in wikt policies (that are included there, some are not!).

It's primary function is to keep all the en.wikt links up to date, here it will be adding reciprocal links to the en.wikt when a link is added there; it is generally a good idea to keep these symmetrical.

There are two functions: one builds an index of all of the wikts (without reading any pages, it uses the MW API to read the indexes), and then checks every en.wikt entry to correct the iwikis (again, without reading any pages except the ones being changed). While doing this, if it adds a link to another wikt, it will add the corresponding link there (here). The other function follows "recent changes" on all of the wikts, and adds needed links to the en.wikt, and likewise the corresponding link. While en.wikt policy is to link to redirects, in no case does Interwicket add links from another wikt to a redirect in the en.wikt. Robert Ullmann 11h10min de 27 de janeiro de 2009 (UTC)

The half automated bot will work interwiki (the main aim is to integrate upper sorbian wiktionary in the interwiki and to make interwiki in the hsb wiktionary). To be effective with ressources it is senseful that the bot writes his findings also in the pt dictionary. The bot uses pywikipedia. His wikipedia sister has bot flag in 26 wikipedias (e.g. en, pt, es, de, cs, pl, sk, ru, uk, bs, sr, hr, eo, el, it, no, da, ro, sl, lt, lb, tr, nds, nds-nl, be-x-old, cv) Thank you! Olá, I am requesting bot-status for my bot User:SpaceBirdyBot to remove the links to tlh added by Especial:Contribuições/MonoBot, which are breaking the entries, because the links to Klingon Wikt never worked and never will (see [1]) I have asked Monobi to update his bot via SVN, but the links are now still breaking the entries.

I have run my bot in the past here (see Especial:Contribuições/SpaceBirdyBot) to help pt.wikt after the automatic capitalization was turned off for all Wiktionaries. I am running SpaceBirdyBot on de.wikt, is.wikt and es.wikt mainly for maintanance with replace.py and modifications of it.

The removal of tlh links work, see [2],

I do replacements only on request.
